Stroke due to Lyme disease

56-year-old woman from Connecticut with multiple strokes 18 months following treatment for early Lyme disease. Lyme disease confirmed by white cells and Lyme disease antibodies on a spinal tap and response to antibiotics.

Thalmic infarction initially presenting with a headache followed by grand mal seizure activity. Lyme disease with cerebral vasculitis was confirmed by spinal tap.
