I see some hope for physicians who seek to improve the care of Lyme disease patients. I have joined the board of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). ILADS is the only professional society in existence that “provides a forum for health science professionals to share their wealth of knowledge regarding the management of Lyme and associated diseases.” I am the chief author of the ILADS treatment guidelines.
