Remove attached
ticks properly and promptly. Use fine tipped tweezers. Do NOT use vaseline
or a match. Grasp the head of tick as close to your skin as possible
and pull the tick straight outward with a slow steady pressure. Do not
squeeze or crush the ticks body, or twist and jerk as you are pulling,
as this can cause the tick's mouth parts to remain in the skin, or allow
infected fluids to enter the wound. Consult your physician. | |||||
