Clinical Trial Experience
The academic and clinical experience of the principal investigator for the Lyme Disease Practice and Research is evident. His capabilities and commitment to serve as a mentor include his teaching capacity as assistant professor Medicine in Geriatrics at the New York College of Medicine. His initial master's defense in epidemiology, publications in delirium and dementia, and years of scientific presentations at Lyme disease scientific conferences are evidence of his commitment to an ongoing high quality patient-oriented research.
Dr. Cameron's previous experience as an Assistant Professor and current teacher for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants demonstrates an ongoing mentor role. The years of oral and poster presentations demonstrates the ongoing commitment as a leader in patient-oriented research. The Lyme Disease Practice and Research director has provided leadership for the scientific program and have final responsibility for the scientific, administrative, and operational aspects of the project. The Director is responsible for overall coordination and for development of the Lyme Disease Practice and Research as a unique national resource.
Dr. Cameron remains active in the practice of medicine and admits patients to Northern Westchester Hospital Center. He has published and presented dozens of scientific papers.
